Hopefully, a link I posted somewhere brought you here. I strongly encourage serious, well thought out constructive criticism, so please, by all means, roast what you hear or praise it if you like it.

Chances are if you found a link, you found it through a message board so you can drop me a line through the various means of contact there. I'll have a dedicated e-mail account soon for inquiries, criticism and, download links. I'll also throw the project on the MySpace music/Facebook music bandwagon eventually as well in addition to whatever other sites I can use to whore this pet project of mine out.

This is the first officially released track from my new project, currently using the "We Were Kings" moniker. It's a demo, so of course it's poorly mixed, it's lacking vocals (that's partially due to writer's block because I'm not quite sure how to make vocals work with with a fast-paced song like this; it's somewhat unfamiliar territory for me) and there are some structural issues with the music (it drags on a little too long, some shit doesn't exactly work out the way I wanted it to). It's also under a working title.

But the basic spirit is here and in full force. That's what I think is important and that's what I wanted people to hear.

Plus, if I'm fucking this up somehow, perhaps releasing the music very early in the writing process will allow a listener to catch mistakes for me to correct. Think of it as quality control.

The song's already been heavily reworked and it's current working form will see future release. I've been making a lot of home studio updates that will ultimately benefit this project.

That's enough of me rambling. Please, enjoy what you hear! This is only the start ...
